This one-day antenatal workshop is a focused, practical introduction to birth, designed for those who can’t commit to a longer course, are short on time, or simply want a clear, confidence-boosting refresher.
In five hours, we’ll cover the essentials: how to prepare your body, how labour works, what your options are, and how to cope in the moment with simple, effective tools you’ll actualy use.
Partners will leave knowing exactly how to support, not just stand on the sidelines.

What will we cover?

Gentle movement sequence that you can do at home, biomechanics for aligning your body for birth. Massage techniques for relaxation.

Exploring three main pathways for birthing your baby - physiological birth, induced or augmented birth and caesarean. Bosting your confidence in decision making and learning about advocacy, helping to write a birth plan that actually works.

Coping tools for birth including movement, breathing, massage etc. as well as pharmaceutical pain relief.

Emotional and physical partner support before and during labour, setting up the environment.
